What’s the recovery timeline after non-surgical rhinoplasty?

• Day 1: Possible mild swelling, redness at injection sites, and minor tenderness
• Days 2-3: Most visible signs of treatment resolve for most patients
• Days 4-7: Complete resolution of any minor bruising or swelling
• Week 2: Final settling of filler and true results become apparent
• Expect results to last 6-12 months. 

How long is the actual procedure time for a non-surgical rhinoplasty?

The actual injection time for non-surgical nose correction typically ranges from 15-30 minutes. However, patients should anticipate spending 45-60 minutes at the office to allow for pre-procedure preparation, including photographs, consent forms, and application of topical anesthetic.

What are the side effects of NSR?

*Bruising along the nasal bridge 

*Swelling: this resolves in a few days, no special care is required 

*Tenderness: I usually advise Tylenol for relief of any discomfort 

*Vascular occlusion is a rare side effect if the filler is injected into a blood vessel interfering with the blood supply of the skin or blindness. Although rare, I make sure to discuss this in great detail with each patient. There are steps that can be taken to decrease the risks, but it’s important to know that nothing eliminates the risks.
